The World of Bessie Cole

Schroeder High School Senior, Devon Marr selected the presentation of four diaries on the Webster Museum Web site as her Senior Project. The diaries cover the years 1867,1874 1910-1915 , 1917 and are written by young people (two boys and two girls) ages 11-14. This Exhibit includes excerpts from Bessie Cole's journal style diary and a visual presentation by the Webster Museum of every day items which might have been used by Bessie and her family who lived in the Village of Webster. Look for Devon Marr's completed project on our Web site under the "Kid" page in a few weeks.
